Overview

There are multiple ways to search for content from the Media Library or the content of your project workspaces.

This topic explains how to search and filter for content in

  1. for Media Library content

  2. for workspaces names

Searching for Media Library Content

Use the Our Media landing page or the Media Library search boxes to search for content. You can search Media Library asset names, description, tags and the content of the transcript. You can use a "*" wildcard character to help you perform partial string lookups.

Performing a Our Media page search for Media Library content

Using a wildcard of * search for all content containing "al".

Performing a Media Library content search

Using a wildcard of * search for all content containing "al".

Either of the above return the search results where the letters "al" are used in the content.

To preview the asset, select the image's play icon. To drill into the containing Media Library folder, select the folder link below the asset name.

Filtering Workspaces by Name

You can search across workspaces and filter the list of workspaces using a set of characters to filter the set of workspace names that contain those characters.

To list all workspaces with the "series" in the name, enter those characters.

Note that the filter is case-insensitive and that wildcard characters are not supported.

Filtering the Assets of a Workspace

You can filter the assets of a workspace by title and creator name using the "Search Assets" search box.

To filter the list of assets containing "part" in its title or creator fields start typing the characters "par" in the search box as follows.

Note that the filter is case-insensitive and that wildcard characters are not supported.
