Need to create 90-second video from a longer video? Use Media Mix to clip the content and use bumpers, B Roll*, images and video overlays to produce your video.
The steps:
Create a new Media Mix
Upload your long-form video into the mix
Click on the dropdown menu on the video to "Create Select"
Use our our clip editor to set the in and point on the shorter clip you need.
Save it.
Go back to your Mix to render the desired, shorter piece.
(*) What is B Roll?
B Roll (sometimes written as B-Roll or Broll) refers to secondary footage that visually supports the primary footage in a film or video project. It’s usually interwoven with the main footage for a variety of purposes, including enhancing the story, adding dramatic tension, and elaborating a point.
Create a Media Mix
You can create a Media Mix in multiple ways. From the Quick Links sidebar menu or from within a workspace.

Use the New dropdown button you will find within the workspace you select. By default users are taken to the Default Workspace.
Select the source location of your long-form video
Use the "Create Select" menu item in the asset's dropdown.
You can select the content to clip using the timing markers in combination with the "Set in Point" and "Set Out Point" to set the start and end position of your clip. If you have a transcript, simply select the text you want to clip.
When you are satisfied with your selection, press on the "Save as Asset" button to create your short-form video clip.
Give the clip a title. When it finishes processing its transcript, simply drag the clip the the Drag Assets Here area and press Render Video.
When you have completed this action and the creation has completed, you will find a newly added clip to your workspace. You can also copy the clip to a Media Library folder.
