Introducing Exciting Updates to GLX: Enhanced Navigation, Workspaces, and More!

Hello GLX users!

We are thrilled to announce a series of updates designed to make your GLX experience more intuitive, efficient, and enjoyable.

This release introducing key GLX updates including a new landing page, enhanced navigation, and improved workspaces. Our redesigned landing page offers a "Getting Started" help section, collaborative tasks, and a summary of organizational workspaces and media assets. Projects now incorporate workspaces and publishing, while new top-level navigation elements "Our Media" and "Our Projects" streamline story and content management. Enjoy the flexibility of working on multiple workspaces simultaneously, with updated workspace lists and seamless navigation between open workspaces and the Media Library. The addition of asset previews, quick actions, and a new workspace side panel further enhance your GLX experience.

In this "What's New" we will walk you through the latest features and improvements we've introduced to GLX. Let's dive in!

Our revamped landing page includes:

Access to essential features and functions more easily with our new Quick Links.

Two new top-level navigation elements have been added to help you focus your efforts: "Our Media" and "Our Projects". Projects encompass the workspaces and publishing activities you perform for the content you source and deliver to Our Media's Media Library. We will be enhancing discovery features in releases to come by the introduction of new Media experiences.

We've consolidated to Our Projects the Workspaces and Publishing apps. The Our Projects landing page contains the content you previously found in the "Home" page. We've added a new Workspaces app to list all workspaces present not just the last five open workspaces. From the Workspace app you can create new workspaces using its "New Workspace" button.

You can now enjoy the flexibility of working on multiple workspaces simultaneously, with your progress saved across logins. No longer do you need to reopen workspaces between logins.

A default workspace has been introduced for a better user experience. This is a built-in workspace intended for those that are learning about the concept. This reduces the amount of unnecessary workspaces. And, speaking of unnecessary workspaces, you can now delete them.

Each asset now opens in a separate workspace tab. Seamlessly switch between multiple open workspaces and the Media Library without losing your progress. Open workspaces remain open between logins until they are closed.

We've created a new workspace list. Media Mixes and screening rooms are now more clearly displayed as assets of the workspace.

Filter workspaces by type or use the search bar to quickly find what you're looking for.

Select a row to preview an asset, or use the expand button to view all assets at once.

Access a range of actions, including our new Quick Actions for frequently used tasks.

Perform various actions and view properties more efficiently with our new side panel.

Please note that there are no changes to the Media Library at this time. However, we are working on an update to replace the current card view with the list view, similar to what's available in workspaces.
